    Hello,

There is an option in virtualdub for finding bad frames. I believe it's in the video menu. That might help

Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

    G'day,

You might also want to check out https://www.videohelp.com/edit#5;22 . There's a whole list of guides regarding fixing bad frames, etc etc. BTW, @Yoda: I think the "original" version of virtualdub doesn't have that option, but most of its hybrids (virtualdub-mp3, virtualdub-mpeg2 and virtualdubmod) all have it
    If in doubt, Google it.

not sure if this is the right forum for this....

I have an MPG file that I'd like to convert to AVI (DIVX5.0 as the codec), I used VirtualDubMod......I don't really need the audio, so I disabled it (Stream->Stream List)....for the Video, it works on Full Processing Mode but on Direct Stream Copy it doesn't.....it's giving an error message about "Algorithm doesn't match" or something like that.....I didn't want it on Full Processing Mode cuz it takes forever to finish.

Is there any way to solve this or does anybody knows a software/converter that's lil bit faster than VirtualDubMod that converts MPG to AVI using DIVX5.0 codec......and i don't think it's my PC either that's making it slower, I have a Pentium 4, 3.2 Ghz.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
