Hi, maybe some of you more experienced folk can give me some suggestions?

I want it for vocals/voice-over & instruments (guitar amp)... ie something versatile.

I know prices are more expensive here in Australia than in the U.S., even after converting the $$.

    I have found these:

Samson CO1 - $150 (currently on special at Allans Music, Melb)
    Studio Projects B1 - $199
    Marshall MXL770 - $189
    Marshall MXL990 - $199
    Behringer B1 - $199

Consequently I'm leaning towards the Samson, 'cos it saves me $50 bux!

I have actually been searching for the Marshall MXL V57M (recommended in another thread here, and elsewhere as well)... but it doesn't seem to be available here!?

Does anyone here have and recommendations/advise?

(PS: I don't want to go the 2nd-hand/eBay route).

    Thanks!

Never mind, I see the new Behringer C1 is out very soon for AUS$80 or so, looks like a bargain!

    Cheapo condensor?
I heard some ADK's the other day that were quite amazing.
I think they're made in China, of course.
The guy doing the sound said they were just over $100 US.

Thanks, yes I heard the Chinese-made condensers aren't that bad at all. I don't mind some warm "colouring" to my sounds. The usual dynamic mikes (Shure 57/58 etc) just seem a bit bland/flat to me. But hey, I'm no expert in these matters...

But can anybody top the Behringer C1 for value??? AUS$80!! That'll prob'ly convert to next to nothing in U.S.....
