I am thinking of purchasing a few 100 packs of 8x Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's from Supermediastore. Does anyone know if these are the real things, I just want to make sure they are genuine before I purchase them.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The product number for these at Supermediastore is DVD01X0165-050.

I just bought some TY 8x discs from Rima ($50 + 5 shipping) that are the real deal. Ran them through several disc identifier programs and all came back as TY02. Burned several and all burned perfectly (nec-3500).
If you are considering several hundred discs, you might go ahead and spend the extra few bucks to be sure you get the real deal. A warning, shipping from Rima took a week to Virginia. -
Check this out before buying from Supermediastore https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=244691

I thought all the other stores bought from rima.com cause their prices were always higher.
