Here are some test images done with several common capture chips. It's interesting to see the difference in image quality. All test images were made using the same PC and DVD for the test. All captures were made using the composite input.

seems like the canopus is the must detailed, but has some pretty bad chroma bleed , the SAA7330 looks pretty good .
whats with the major level shift with the ati card?
