Do you shop for household items, such as kitchen items: pot set, silverware, etc... online or at local retail stores?

Just curious because the wife is ready to shop for some new things for the house.

Is it better to just check the Sunday paper for sales at local retail stores or can you get better deals online?

My wife. The little woman shops a mean game. She picks up almost everything.

The only thing I buy is:
    Electronics
    Reloading supplies
    Porn
    Vinyl
    Patches
    Sushi K-Y
    Vaseline
    Compressor parts
    Tools
    DVD media
    Major appliances
    Male enhancement vacuum devices
Female enhancement vacuum devices (almost as much fun)

I buy almost everything online. The service is much better than the local stores. Some of the locals won't give you the time of day, let alone good service, or any service.

Believe it or not, I just bought a case of birch beer over the net. Didn't have that for about 40 years! (Royal Castle)

It's not what you think with the vaseline Rick. It's for coating motel rooms:

Silly me, I remember you telling me that you like to coat motel rooms completely in vaseline in your spare time.

We were really looking at getting a new pot set. Maybe within the $100 -$200 range. If it were just a $20 item, I would do just as you say and purchase it from a local store.

For most everyday items under $100 it's hard to beat Wally World at an e-tailer after tax / shipping. Anything electronic is another story. I'm usually a bargain hunter when it comes to most things.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore.
