    Hi

i have got 24 avi files on my system that i would like to burn onto dvd to be watched in my dvd player

what is the easiest way to do this?

the total size of all the files is 3.5GB and my dvd player is a Pioneer DV-350.

I have tried using TMPGEnc to convert the files to dvd but i could only fit 4 files per disk

    Hello,

Use a videobitrate calculator to determine the bitrate needed to fit them on a dvd.

Though you might be better off getting a dvd player that plays divx files. If you have to use a really low bitrate the videos won't look very good

If you convert them to DVD format they will grow in size ...a lot.

You could try using 1/2D1 DVD format. It's half the resolution of full DVD, and the player will play it full-screen. It'll play just fine and you might be able to squeeze quite a bit more onto one disc, but probably not 24

Try using TMPGenc DVD Author, ignore the fact that the end result will be bigger than will fit on a single DVD, then run it through DVD Shrink using the "Full Disk" method

The maximum I seem to find that DVD Shrink can handle before moaning it won't fit is betwen 10-12GB, in that case I used DVD2One 1.5.1, and that managed to squeeze it down to fit on a single DVD

Tmpgenc dvd author will let you author up to 8 gb,it just warns you at 4.4gb that you are going over the dvd5 file size.
