  1. i am thinking of buying myself a first dvd recorder, but i don't know if i should go with nec 3500 or Pioneer 108... which one and why?

    The NEC 3500 and Pioneer 108 are dvd writers not recorders. DVD writers or burners are computer peripherals and need software to burn your DVDs. DVD recorders are standalone devices not connected to your computer. They are effectively VCRs capturing on DVDs instead of video tape.

  5. I bought the NEC. After owning a fair amount of products by both companies I think NEC is better quality myself.
