  1. Greetings,
I ripped the DVD with Smartripper, Decoded with DVD2AVI, and made a VCD with TMPGEnc. I am using the latest versions of all and am familiar with all the settings. I have created over 20 VCDs from DVDs with no problem at all.
I have checked the .wav file (just over 2 gigs) it plays perfectly, but the final VCD has no audio. I have encountered this before when I decoded the wrong track, this is not the problem though since the .wav file is ok.
What am I missing? Is there another program that works when TMPGEnc doesn't? Is there another setting?
    Much thanks in advance,
    Jeff

  3. you might think I'm crazy, but I haven't watched it yet. I subscribe to netflix and just got it in the mail. I was going to watch it this weekend. The movie is 202 minutes, including 53 extra minutes...

Netflix hype: Vietnam War to "terminate with extreme prejudice" the errant Colonel Kurtz (Marlon Brando). In addition to being tr-edited with the 53 minutes of new footage, the film has been completely restored, converted to digital, and reprinted by dye-transfer, improving color reproduction.

  4. My god, 53 MORE minutes. It's already one of the longest movies I've ever seen, great film though.

Just for your problem, try encoding the audio seperately (select the wav as a source, then select audio only as output). Or use the new AZID/LAME Gui, which has support for 2Lame. Then Mux
