  1. Hi I was looking to buy a good dvd player that played all the dvd, svcd, vcd, divx. I would like to have all the audio formats playable and i would like to spend at least 200 dollars or less for it? Can anyone help?

  2. I just bought a JVC XV-N410B that I like. It has enough picture adjustments to keep the pickiest of viewers happy, it also has a direct drive spindle motor not a cheap DC brush motor like most have. Plays all disc formats. Paid $39 from Sears Liquidation on e-bay.

    Hello,

The philips dvp642 does divx. Lots of people here have posted about it.

Check out this list of players and search for the options you want:

  4. I thought the 642 had poor video quality. The Bravo D2 and the Momitsu (sp.?) play divx and have superior picture quality with HDMI out, but they are around $225. Check over at the avsforum.com DVD Player forum.
