    I have been ripping DVDs in the past few months that didn't have menus so it was automatically giving me 1 ac3 and 1 video file under stream processing. However when I try to do the same with DVDs that have menus it is giving me about 6 seperate AC3 and video files.

    I need to rip them in IFO or File mode as I am re authoring. I know there's something I'm probably not selecting under settings or am doing wrong, but someone please tell me what it is???

    Strange those DVDs with no menus, aren't they? Were they DVDs of an only file? lol...Sorry. Let's get to the point: those files you're getting are for the menus. So, what's the big deal? What tool do you use to decrypt these DVDs?

  4. Check to see what criteria its using for splitting the files.

    Go to Settings > IFO Mode > and under File Splitting you can change it to split however you like.

    Sorry...lol
    Well, you can try this friend...
    Open DVD Decrypter;
    Choose IFO mode;
    Hit Tools and Settings;
    On the guide IFO MODE, choose Options; File Splitting; NONE
    Just to make sure everything works out, on the guide FILE MODE; choose Options; File Splitting; NONE.
    Important: select now the main VOB file (that's where the main movie is) and select the options to get separate VOB and Ac-3 files.
    After the end of the process you can return to the original DVD Decrypter config.:
    Choose File.
    IFO MODE guide; Options; File Splitting; 1 GB;
    FILE MODE guide; Options; File Splitting; By File.

    For the AC-3 file, you can also try demuxing the VOB (if you don''t choose to get separate VOB and AC-3 files) with TMPGENC. Open this newly created VOB file, hit TMPGENC MPEG TOOLS, De-Multiplex and choose the audio stream, demuxing the file as AC-3.
