  1. Is there a way to test the DVD by viewing on the PC before burning the final copy. It would be nice not to have waste a DVD if the video files are messed up.

    Thanks

    Hello,

Yes. Don't burn the disc just make the video_ts folder. Then go into your dvd player software and choose dvd harddrive mode (or some similar sounding language). Then open the video_ts folder and select the ifo file. That will load your menu and you can play the dvd. Assuming everything works ok on the pc you should be all set to burn it.

After you author the DVD. Use PowerDVD to view it on the PC. You can probably use any DVD player that will work on the PC.

  4. Wow that was fast... Thanks guys. I have Power DVD but didn't realize I could play the contents of the video_TS. If I didn't create a menu what do I select or will it be obvious.

If you click on the button that opens the DVD, you should see another link for open dvd from hard drive. Then just open the VIDEO_TS folder and the movie will play.

    Hello,

If that doesn't work click on the first .vob file or the .ifo file. Then it will play

You can also burn the final product onto DVD-RW.
