RANT: The Insanity of American Voting

So I left for work before the polls opened today... The wife just called saying she is in line for what is expected to be 1 to 1 1/2 half hours. They say tonight after dinner the lines / times will be longer. I want to vote for one of these ******** but I ain't gonna wait for 2 hours for that luxury. That's just nuts... the system is archaic (sp). and needs to get into the 90's let alone the new millennium.

Seems you can pay your taxes online with some unique id's and passcodes... each registered person (registered to vote) could be provided some passcode or ID's and this should be done online. Not in some stupid polling booth that was built in 1952.
