i wanna join 7 mpg files to 1 file ,but i get this error file.mpg is not compatible with other mpg files ,what did i wrong or forget ,thx

If the specs of the files are different you can't join them together. For example if you are trying to join an mpeg1 file to an mpeg 2 file or if you are trying to join files with different resolutions. Check the specs of your files with avicodec and see if they all match.

Your MPEG files need to be exactly the same in terms of specs. What are the specs of the videos you're trying to join ?
