what program will allow me to save a slideshow of still pictures, so that i can use it in tmpgc and then on to dvd authour, or another way of asking what type of file do i need for a slideshow of stills so that it will got into tmpgnc![]()

many ways to skin that cat (so to speak)..some editors do that...also, I have used memories on tv to create a decent slide show then instead of authoring it w/ their tools, taking it's mpeg output and pulling that into other authoring tool...(use options to select save streams and other option not to burn your result).
you can download a demo from their site (watermark I think)...it should be able to use the tmpgenc encoding but maybe not for the demo - download the mpeg2 plugin as well (which if you have the extra $15 works well if you buy the package)..."As you ramble on through life, brother, whatever be your goal - keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole." -
You might also try Slide Show Movie Maker. It will create an AVI of your pics, which can then be imported into TMPGEnc for conversion.
Best of all, it's FREE!!!just a thought
