For some reason, when I'm capturing video with Adobe Premier, I am limited to capturing 9:59 of video. It ends up being about 2.2 gigs. I KNOW that my system is capable of recording longer clips than that because it was working fine a few months ago. I hadn't done any capturing for a while and now I have that limit. I fixed it once but I dont remember what I had done. I am using Win XP and NTFS formated drive.
Thanks for help,
-Adam

Check in project settings in scratch device maby your temp folder is located at c:\ and it only have 2gb free or such.

I had upgraded from Adobe Premier 6.0 to 7.0 since my last capturing sessions and I guess it must have been the .avi settings that was screwing me up. I tried many different settings, turning off the default compression and such, but nothing worked. I reverted to 6.0 and now it works fine. I am not sure what is different, but so long as it works, I'm happy. Thanks for the help.

It's probably a setting in the capture program. Most have settings for time, file size, unlimited etc.

Make sure you disable you antivirus software - I used to have the same problem when capturing from my Digital8, crapped out at the 13 minute mark every time. Disabled the antivirus and all was well...
