I added a subtitle and i lost the menu

i added a subtitle to the movie and then after burning it i only had the movie without the menu
and all the other extras

can anyone give me a good guide that explain how to add a subtitle to a movie and also add the option to chose that subtitle??

I think you have to come up with some more specifics as to source material, software and method used & cetera before anyone might attempt to take stab at your problem...

you would probably have to add the info to the IFO also so that the player knows the subs are there

as Mats said, more info would be helpful as we don't know exactly what you have done

Deselect everything you don’t need. As shown in the figure, here I tried to keep the original menu, which might work in some cases, but probably not in all.

To answer your Q: I've never managed that feat. New subs to main title only - no prob. Keep original DVD structure - too much work, at least to me.

No. I simply don't know how. I am satisfied with subtitling movie only, and don't care for the menu.
