Hi!
I have e Pioneer 106 burner and ive had it since its release.
My problem is that i can olny burn in PIO mode only. This limitx me to only 2x burning instead of 4x burning.
When i enable dma, burning freezes .
I have updated my motherboard bios and i have the latest unoficial firmware for my burner (also the oroginal firmware didnt work in dma mode.)
my burner is connected as secondary slave, And i have a MSI P4 system.
So it feels like ive tried almost everything, and its very frustrated now because even i i buy a new burner i dont know if i still would have the same problem.
If anyone has any tips i would be very grateful.
Best regard /Martin

If you're using INTEL ACCELERATOR APPLICATION sometimes that will cause problems with burning software. I would suggest you UNINSTALL it and use the MICROSOFT DRIVERS instead.
Hook up your 106 as secondary master instead.
