    Hi.

I converted 3 avi files to DVD Files. I used DVD2SVCD to do it, and I want to burn the 3 converted (short) movies to one DVD, using TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.6. (So, I've got 3 folders, containing ceveral files needed for DVD Author, like "Encoded_Video_CCE_PAL.mpv")
Only 2 files are NTSC, and one is PAL. I tried to make 3 tracks, (each track contains 1 file), but when I try to convert to the final DVD, it sais it can't burn NTSC and PAL to 1 DVD. Sounds clear to me.

Is it possible to convert the PAL file to NTSC, or is it possible to add aswell PAL and NTSC files to one DVD.

Else, is it possible to configure DVD2SVCD to let it convert both to NTSC?

Yes, you can persuade your DVD authoring software to 'think' a movie is in teh correct format using DVD Patcher, all it does is changes a couple of bits of data in the video to make the software think its PAL when it might NTSC and vice-versa, then you patch it back to the correct format after so it will play correctly

I have succesfully done this in the past as TMPGenc DVD Author will not let you mix PAL and NTSC on the same DVD, even though your DVD player will play the DVD perfectly, as longa s you have a DVD player than can play PAL and NTSC !!

Sorry, can't be much more help than that, but it gives me the idea of writing another guide for my web site to cover just that problem, as a few others have asked this same question in the past
