    I live in the UK and am looking for a Prosumer/professional HD 1080 camcorder. The thing is i hope to emigrate to Canada in the next couple of years and don't want to be forking out for another camcorder when i move.

    Is there any camera on the market that can redord in both formats, PAl/NTSC????

    you may be able to find one that's cheaper or just buy a NTSC cam

    Hi Jagabo,

    Thanks for that but i don't use (or plan to use) Final Cut Pro and the JVC creates .mov files as standard.

    Although £2,500.00 is a lot cheaper than the sony.

    I currently use a VX2000 and VX9000 and really like Sony cameras, so i guess i'll have to save or do a few more weddings
