Hi.
I captured some clips using Adobe Premiere Pro 7.0, and would like to extract the timecode from the first frame of that file.
Is there any software out there that is able to read the timecode of an .avi file, which holds captured DV material?
Many thanks.

Do you know any other software, which allows to rename an .avi with DV content having full control of the datacode format used for renaming?

https://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=Visual_DV_Time_Stamp
allows many different formats & options .. a great little tool
not sure what you mean by renaming though, but this tool will create a new avi file for you from your original + the added time stamp"As you ramble on through life, brother, whatever be your goal - keep your eye upon the doughnut and not upon the hole." -

yeah, on the crashing, I am using the older version DTS (date time stamp)...you might want that one (email the author & I'm sure he can get it to you)...what are you looking for in renaming the avi file?

Hi geohei,
Maybe DV_Datecode will do the trick for you...There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.
