This is very amazing to me. Will we find life on Titan.... the only moon that possible has some semblence of an atmosphere.

Jan. 14, 2005: Huygens begins its descent through Titan's cloudy atmosphere, where it lands on the surface about two and half hours later. The probe is scheduled to encounter the upper fringes of Titan's atmosphere at 09:00 UTC.

    Hello,

If not titan maybe IO around Jupiter.

This stuff is always too cool because it's REAL.

Science is always stranger than Science Fiction because we never expect to find somethings when we do.

  3. No and even if they do I doubt we, the unwashed masses, would be told about it.

Buddha says that, while he may show you the way, only you can truly save yourself, proving once and for all that he's a lazy, fat bastard.

    Hello,

Rather pessimistic view. Why wouldn't they tell us about the most importnat discovery ever if it should be found?????

Why???? Life can exist next to underwater volcanoes and those things spew out high temparatures and various gases.... Never discount any possibility, you never know in science...

I disagree as well - I remember the miles of press coverage over the possibility of dead bacteria on a meteorite - I think any evidence that there might be life (or previous life) will be reported heavily.

*edit - just to clarify, I'm disagreeing with the premise that the "unwashed masses" would be kept in the dark.
