  1. Hi all,

Have been working further on my project without success ( https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=238929 )

I was faced with two choices, cut the thing in two and set up over two DVD's, or use a Dual Layer burner to get it on with a higher resolution.

I bought a Pioneer DVR 108 and gave it a shot with DVDLab. The program has a project size guide based on the media that ( from what I can see) doesn't allow you to change the media outside the standard 4.7Gb. Can anyone advise if there is a way around this?

When you come to burning the project, the warning for it being oversize to the media comes up, but still allows you to continue anyway. I did this and am unsure if the coaster I have is because it didn't finish, or if the media (being Verbatim DVD+R DL) will not play on my stand alone player.

The DVD won't play on my computer either.

I am using Pioneer DLA (drive letter acccess) so can drag and drop files with Explorer straight onto the disc, if somone can guide me as to which files are required (keeping in mind I have menus etc from DVDLab)

Lastly, my searching on the forum led me to think it may have something to do with drivers????? for the DVR 108. Although I think I have the latest, any advice on any of the above is muchly appreciated......

DVD Lab Pro can be used with another Mediachance program called CopytoDVD that will allow for burning to dvd+rDL media.

Still a little jerky in spots, but hey, you can't have it all hey?

  4. You should not use Pioneer DLA for DVD-Video. DVD-R is in UDF with special sector size, while I believe the DLA would simply write ISO.
The CopyToDVD is best solution for money - works for all drives.
