    Scroll down to 'vegas filters' and look for the 'auto levels' plug.

    I just installed it and it's freaking awesome! I can't believe someone (Sony) didn't include this with VV5 in the first place. Did I mention that it's FREE. 8)

    hi I followed link and installed all plugins in directory that installer chose PRogramFiles/sony/filters which is a shared folder for sony products. Vegas does not list them by default and I don't know how to change the directory it looks for for filters, tried options/preferences. Any help greatly appreciated. cheers

    I installed them to the default directory as well (with some scepticism, I might add), and they are there for me under Video Event FX (Right-click on clip, select Video Event FX from menu. They should be the top of the list)
