  1. I use DVD X-Copy to make copies of my dvd's and burn them onto dvd-r's. When I try to run a copy on my regular dvd player that's connected to my t.v, it works fine. But when I try to run a copy on my computer, for some reason, my computer doesn't read the copy and it doesn't run. Is this because I need a better dvd player on my computer? I usually use WinDVD to run dvd's. Maybe it has to do with reading dvd-r's? I'm not quite sure why my copies don't run. Please help me out. Thanks

    Hello,

Can you play commercial dvds fine???

You could always update your dvd drives firmware.

  4. I can play commercial dvd roms perfectly fine in my computer dvd drive. I don't think there is anything wrong with my player. I try to play my copied dvd in my laptop computer, which is fairly new, and it does the same thing--it doesn't read the copy that I made from dvd X-Copy. I think my dvd rom drives are okay, but I need some sort of program or something of that sort to make it read the copied dvd. Can anyone help me out?
    Thanks

Oh yeah, sorry about cross posting, I didn't realize that was illegal.

  7. I was using Intervideo WinDVD (it's what came with my computer). I also tried playing the dvd in Real Player & Windows Media Player and it did the same thing. When I put the dvd in my dvd drive and go to My Computer to see the contents of the dvd, it shows that nothing is in that dvd. However, when I play it in my dvd player connected to my t.v, it works fine.
