I have a problem with the project size bar of MF3 when I import video from my Panasonic recorder using DVD-RAM. If I have a 4-hour program, which has a reduced frame size and bit rate to fit on a 4GB DVD, MF3 reports the project at 18GB! I have the box checked to not convert my video and I customized my project mpeg settings to match the specs of my video, but it doesn't change the project size. There is only 4GB of video but it won't allow me to process it that way . . . unless I'm stupid and over looking something obvious. (Hmmm, actually that happens alot!) I even tried to go ahead and create a TS_VIDEO folder with the oversized project setting, thinking that maybe it would correct itself, but after about 10 minutes it crashed. During the past week I downloaded and installed all of the current updates offered by Ulead, which are supposed to correct this problem, among other things. Does anyone out there use MF3 with standalone recorders and have a solution for me?
Thanks!
