  1. Hey guys, when I am using dvd2svcd (Build 3, most recent version), I get a error RIGHT AFTER i choose the frame selection (splitting my movie up into two parts). The error states, "Cannot create file "C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Movie\DVD2AVI_Project_file.d2v" The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process." I have uninstalled this program, and deleted the folder afterwards. It just happened all of a sudden. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance

  2. Are you running DVD2SVCD by itself or through D2SRoBa?

  4. Yes, I am using DVD2SVCD by itself. (Including all of the "other" programs that come within DVD2SVCD) along with TMPEG

How are you doing this split? Are you editing the AviSynth script?

  6. Everything program i am using is included with the DVD2SVCD setup file, when you install it. I am doing this split within DVD2SVCD, you know right after DVD2AVI program finish determining the FPS (frames per second), etc. Then a big black screen comes up, and you can take the scroll button, and with the mouse, scroll through out the movie to choose your starting frame, and your ending frame. Now after i choose my start/end frames, in which the error comes right up.

It sounds like TMPGEnc is running at this point and crashing. Why do you want to split the AVI file before encoding? Why don't you let TMPGEnc encode the whole AVI and then use TMPGEnc's MPEG tools to split the .MPG into two pieces?
