    I and many others are waiting for a new firmware release for the DVP642. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything from Phillips or anywhere of a new release anytime soon. Alternatively, does anyone have an email address for Phillips where one could email them and pester them ?

    It would be realy, reallyl nice if the player could support Xvid 1.0 and up as well as improving the display of the subtitles for avi files cause currently they are real hard to see sometimes.
