  1. I have a ATI TV wonder Pro, had all sorts off Sync Issues with it, but I seem to have that pretty well corrected with a older version of the drivers. The newest ones do not seem to work that well with my system. Anyway, my question is and hopefully it is a easy one. MY TV works very well while viewing. Audio and Video are perfect. However when I capture and and try to play. The video is perfect but I have no audio at all. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks All!

Check your connections, I had the same problem. If its connected correctly then make a test signal. At least this will let you know if its a hardware problem or software. Hope this helps.

  3. Not sure I know what you mean test signal. I know if I remove the audio from my the output of the TV card to the line in of my Audigy Platinum I loose the audio in the TV. I have also recorded audio from a cassette player to the input of the line in of the Audigy card with nice quality. I am stumped. Any more ideas? Thanks!

If the connections are good, it seems like the ATI isn't controlling the line in select properly or you don't have line-in specified in your ATI sound source record preferences.

Go to volume control, options, properties, recording and make sure line in is selected for recording.

  5. Well in the mean time I reloaded pretty much every version of the MMC/drivers, finally settling on 8.9 being the best for audiuo sync. During the reloading, I was never able to get the audio to work on capturing and only 8.9 was able to have nice sync with the video. So I then tried a different inputs and bingo I was able to get the audio during capture. Not sure why the Line in would not work, but at least I am able to capture now. Thank goodness for my live drive. Thanks for all the help...

Actually the version was 8.2, the one that came with my TV Wonder PRo that worked best. Sorry...

Now I take it all back. I just tried to capture yet again with my aux input and it did not work. LOL, oh well I will keep trying!
