Hi guys, I had two Divx movies with their subtitles and Id like to put both movies on a DVD-r. So using DVD lab Pro, I imported both videos and each subtitle, And created a Simple menu with 2 buttons and linked each button to each film. I did't create another VTS for that, both streams stayed at the same VTS. So I created the DVD structure, and tested it with Ulead DVD player, The project played well, and the buttons seemed to be working(I clicked with the mouse and the movie started). But I could see any Subtitles inspite of it existed(the player says There was a Subtitle)...

So I burned it to a DVD+RW, and tested at my Philips 625 DVD player. The Menu appears, BUT, nothing else funcions, The buttons doesnt hilight, ahd I can watch movie at all. Not even if I press a button number...

My question is, wheres my mistake??, Should I created anoter VTS in spite of creating both videos at the same VTS?? I tryed to Create another VTS, with the second video, but at my menu, I couldn't see the other movie, so I couldnt put two buttons with links to both movies, the only way to doing this was on the same VTS...

    Thanks guys, for any help...

I discovered that is wasn't a DVDLAb pro fault, It was a problem related to DVDshrink. Every time I use DVD Shrink, it removes the music from the menu and The buttons doesn.t function on the DVD player...

    Any clues??

    Thanks...

  3. Stop using DVDShrink.

--Demux all videos to elementary streams(audio/video/subtitle)
--Encode the DIVX videos with an MPEG encoder to the proper size using a bitrate that will allow them to fit onto a DVD-R.
    -- Author with DVD-Lab.

That would be difficult. Imagine calculating the bitrate to encode boths movies(two), to put them on a single DVD-r media . With DVD Shrink I didīnt have to worry about bit rate. In fact the DVD folder created was only 200MB over de Media size limitation.

I always use DVD Shrink to reduce the DVD contents generated by Ulead DVD movie factory, and it never heappend, The menus created by Uled were much more complex than the one created by DVDlabpro, and shrink had to work much more because the size was much bigger, and it didnīt give me any trouble.

    Thanks...

Ok, I gave up using DVD shrink, because I discovered that I could change the size of the Mpeg file inside DVD lab Pro(Reduce Mpeg File). I did it and burned again, and it now functions ALMOST perfect...

The menu is ok, the movies are ok, the 1st subtitle is ok, but the subtitle to the second movie appears on the video , not at the letter box(my Tv is 4:3 and the movie 16:9). I used the same settings for both titles, first I had put both movies on the same VTS(one is 23,97 with 3:2 pull down ), and the other is 25fps. I thought it was for that, so I created another VTS and I put each ovie on one VTS, but nothing changed, The second movie subtitle appears above the letter box...

I can watch the ovie, but the subtitles annoys who's watching, cuz it's almost on the middle of the video...

    Any clues???
