  1. Help !

Been dooin vcd's for a while now strayed into svcd's.

When I have the finished file and the go to Nero V 5540 under svcd it gives me an encoding biterate box or fit to disk and then a size.

What field is best and or what setting should be used.

    Many Thanks...

  2. The BEST would be NOT to use Nero for encoding! get TMPGEnc or CCE or anything else that has been specificly develpoed FOR the encoding purpose!

  4. Ignore it, don't use it, you can remove the Create Stand Compliance if it pop's up, just don't let Nero do the encoding.

  5. To retort,

I take it that Nero it trying to take my Mpeg2 file with its already set bitrate and re-encode it.

I so how do you disable it as you have enter a bit-rate or fit to disk option. (If above is true then fit to disk means Nero recaculates the Mpeg2 file's bit-rate down some what to fit on 1 standard cdr).

Or should Nero's encoding bitrate be set to the same as what I encoded it in.

Sefy. I can send screen shots of this part in Nero if it clears it up any.

    Thanks, Cheers and Tar

  6. I know for a fact Nero isn't re-encoding unless you tell it to, because when I make my SxVCD (MPEG2 VBR) movies and I disable the Create Standard Compliance, then Nero is just burning the media without telling me anything.

Have you tried to disable the Standard Compliance ?
