  1. First off, I dont know very much about this stuff, so any help is appreciated. I downloaded a VCD, and I was wondering how I can either put it on CDRs or DVD-Rs.

I have 2 Folders; CD1 and CD2. Each folder contains the following type of files.

    teg-nd1.part01.rar (part 01-52)

I can select all the files and open with VLC Media player, and it plays fine, but I'd like to burn them to a disc. I've tried to select all the files at the same time and open them with StuffIt, but I always get an error.

I have Toast 5.1.2 if that means anything

Anyone got any ideas? I'd appreciate your help.

  2. Gumby or MacPar Deluxe or MacRAR will unRAR your files for you. This should result in either a .bin/.cue pair that you can burn using the copy tab in Toast, or an mpg, which you can drop in the Video tab in Toast while VCD is selected.

agreed. .rar files are a form of compression they need to be "unrared" wich something like gumby or UnrarX

you should then get .bin/.cue files which you can burn with toast, assuming you have toast 6.0 and above.

if not look to the freeware vcd burners like Missing Media Burner or FirestarterFX

oh and hopefully you are familiar with the downloaded movie policy here, if not please understand that help with "screeners" and such is not allowed
