  1. I have been working on transfering my miniDV to dvd, but I am have a couple issues.

First, I am using Ulead Mediastudio Pro 7.0 to capture video from the miniDV camcorder. When capturing video I notice small lines, sometimes between color and edges. When playing back on the dvd play I still see the lines.

Second, I am using Roxio Easy CD and DVD creator 6 to create the dvds, but I don't like how the menu system works.

I am looking for audio/video mixing software, so that I can capture video and add my own audio into the finished video.

Is there any settings that I am missing for MediaStudio or is there a better capture software I can use?

Also what other dvd menu software can I choose from?

    Hi j_bbrown,

    Here's how I do it:

I'm not saying it's the best or the most efficient, but I get good results that I like in (what seems to me) the most logical way. And it addresses all of your points...

As for the "lines" problem - not sure what that is. Try WinDV, DVIO or AVI_IO to transfer from your DV cam.

    Hope that helps...
