HI just wondering if it is possible to keep the orginal start menus on a reauthored dvd when I have compressed the movies ( ie 2or3 )and stuck them on 1 multi disk, and just have one front end page with the 2 or 3 links to the films then it would be as if it were the original menu to them.I know how to compress the movies and to do basic authoring in TMPGenc dvd author and get a working multidvd at the end if anyone can help it would be appreciated sorry if this sounds like a dumb Newbie question but if you dont ask you dont get.BTW if it is poss could you let me know what the best software to use would be.

It is possible. It is hard work. I have never understood the point. Search the guides for DVD Remake, as I believe there is a guide for doing this type of thing.
And explain to me why you would bother - are the menu's really that good ?Read my blog here.

I once did something similar to that (putting back the chapter menu to a DVD reauthored by shrink) just to see if it could be done, using pgcedit.
It wasn't very hard, but it wasn't trivial either.
Here's a link to how I did it...
