I just installed the SSC utility. Is it possible to reset counter or freeze ink, so I can get more out of my cartridges when the cartridge is at 0%??
thanks

If the epson 200 is like the others, then yes, right click the SSC utility on the task tray and either hit reset counters or ink freezer or disable CSIC under Extras.
This will allow you to keep on using the cartridges even if their IC chip says they are empty. But as soon as you notice your ink cartridges thinning, make sure you change them so you don't damage the print heads.
I haven't used this progam extensivly, but have used it to trouble shoot and fix my sisters Epson Stylus 777 which had corrupt print cartridges. They were brand new, but were telling the computer they were empty. -
You can also buy chip resetters for anywhere between £4 and £12. I picked one up from Wilkinson's here in the UK for I think it was £6 because I find the SSC utility sometimes takes several goes to reset the chips and I'm the impatient type...

The SSC utility really doesnt work well with the 200. Freeze ink level doesnt work and make sure you DO NOT USE THE MOVE TRAY FUNCTION. It will screw up the printer big time. It does something crazy. I think it tries to move the tray across without raising it first.
My advise is to uninstall it. -
LOL. hell yes it makes the tray go NUTS!!! i bout S|-|iT my pants when it started making this LOUD grinding type noise. I yanked the plug. Dont use it.
