  1. I have a bunch of AVIs that im in the process of converting over to MPG (VCD/SVCD). Ive been using TMPGEnc for the past few months. I am wondering if anyone has used a faster program to do the converting. I dont mind using TMPGEnc but if theres a way to convert these files over would be great. Considering how many i need to convert it will take a while.

    Thanks

TMPGEnc, though considered good (especially for it's price), is also known to be one of the slower quality encoders.

Other quality favourtites, that I've read are quicker, include:

    Mainconcept MPEG Encoder
    Cinemacraft Encoder
    Canopus ProCoder

    Good luck...
