i have dats on hard drive that i renamed back to mpg. The files mpeg1 48hz. i author them onto dvd media with TDA, but having some problems in standalone players.
At times the picture will pause altogether, but the audio still continues. does anyone know why that is? Is there something i can do while encode/re-encoding it that can force video and audio to say in sync?
is it perhaps because i renamed the .dat file to .mpg? would converting dat to mpg with a program be any better off? my weeks long projects have been totally spoiled
