  1. I have an mpeg2 file and audio file, all I want to do is find a program that I can drop them into and a dvd will be made. I don't need any menus. All I want it to do is play when I put it in a dvd player. I don't need any menu's.

    You need to use an editor, open both the video and audio files, and save as a DVD-compliant MPEG2. Then you need to "author" the files, then burn.

    The MPEG2 file ought to already have audio ...

    Check out the guides at the top left of the screen. They'll help you make sense of it

    TMPGEnc DVD Author or DVDAuthorGUI are 2 simple to use applications for this, provided you've got DVD compliant source(s).

    or ifoedit or gui for dvdauthor...or click on Tools and DVD Author in the secret menu here to the left. . You don't need to join/multiplex the video and audio....some crappy author tools requires that but most support elemantary streams(separated video and audio files).
