    I downloaded some videos from NASA.gov but they have a .mp4 extension. What codec do I need to be able to watch them? The only codec I seem to be able to find that will play them is 3ivx d4 451 but this will only last for 30 days.

  4. ffdshow codec in the tools section should play it fine.

    Quicktime will play them as well.
