Do any of you all play golf on the computer? i use to play all the time.. i would from time to time play this game they have here in the US called golden tee. i have only played real golf one year. i got some clubs given to me and me and my old room mate use to go play and drink 2 or 3 times a week.. never got real into it on the course... but i get hooked on the computer game.. i jsut got tiger woods pga 2005. i have to say the game play is awsome.. the graphics rock and the options are endless.. and it has one of the best swings ive seen in a computer golf game.. they have the standard 2 or 3 click with the rotating wheel.. thats ok but this game has a "natural swing" option.. no click you just move the mouse back for the back swing and fwd again for the follow through.. it is very realistic.

I have played it a bit and have a few custom players started. I want to hack one of my players but havent been able to find anything for this version of the game. only 2004.. i just want the money hack.. lol yeah i know im a cheat.. but sometimes i just want to go out and mess around. i havent looked into all the game types.. but the ones i have played dont have a mulligan option lol.. come on man.. give a brother a break. im not always that good..

I will say that with out any cheats i was able to get -10 for 18 playing tiger woods. he can crush the ball 350 yards in the game lol..

I think i can do better but need to play more..

Anyway.. anyone have an opinion of this game.. and more importantly anyone know of a money cheat for this?

    Hello,

Last golf game I owned and played was Links 386. Perfect game. Don't come anybetter.

I have Tiger Woods 2002 from a sports package that had Nhl 2002. I haven't played it yet.

    I don't think I could run 2005 on an amd 850.

I haven't played many golf games since Waialae Country Club on SNES. THat was the best golf game I've ever played. I've played Links 386, but it's been a long time since I last played that. I think the golf game I played most recently was Mario Golf or it may have been Hot Shots. THat was probably 2 or 3 years ago.

    Hello,

I know, that's why I bought an XBOX so I can play the newer games. Until I buy a newer computer that is!

Is there a course designer for TW2005?

Last one I played was Links2003 and Jack Nick's Golden Bear 5 - I loved messing around with the course designer on that one. Actually made a couple fantasy courses and even recreated my favorite local public course on there too....

I see they have a "Dream 18" feature, but it does not specifically mention about a course designer to start from scratch...

Tiger 2005 is awesome. My guy is 110% on everything already and I've only played the game maybe 5 times. Just go to the legends challenge and start playing them. If you build driving and power boost first you'll out drive everyone and you will win easier. Make sure you buy some level 4 clubs somewhere along the line. I only had to beat 3 of the legends before I was full attribute wise. Seve, Arnold, and who ever is in the bottom middle. (I beat him first).

We have TW2005 on XBox, I don't play too many "computer" games. Some but usually RPGs.

I also play real golf...I suck at it and I don't play very often but I am very good at riding around in a cart and drinking beer I have to play to my strengths

Shoozle - you design the courses yourself, matter of fact, you have to beat the legends to get legend coins, then you use the legend coins to unlock or tiger proof other courses and to build your own dream 18.

    Hello,

Northcat - How cool! A teacher who plays video games!!

I remember when I was in middle school and a friend and I were trying to convince on of our teachers the benefits of gaming. We tried hand/eye coordination, visual acuity. Never got through to him. But it's neat to see a teacher who's into digital video and gaming. About time!

I have a teenage son. But I would play anyway, first I like them, 2nd I believe in order to relate to anyone or anything, you first must be able to see at least some of the world through their eyes, to develop an understanding of their perspective and to develop common ground.

    Hello,

Excellent! You must be able to get through to some of your students if you actually take the time to find out whats "cool".

Duke Nukem, Resident Evil and Halo are among my favorites.

    I prefer games like:

    Rainbow 6
    Satcom 2
    Splinter Cell 1 & 2
    Final Fantasy 7 and 8
    Sport games
Racing games (midnight club 2 rocks)
Always liked Road Rash for PS1 & 2
    Soldier of fortune
    Deus Ex (computer)
    Thief 1 & 2 (computer)
    Cool Boarders was pretty cool.

well, um...now that I think about it, I like quite a few different types of games

I still have the old Resident Evil 2 PC game. I'd like to get a newer version of it, as it doesn't seem to work on my computer anymore. I have to play it on NEON, because that tower's OS is 98SE. I have trouble often trying it in XP.
