What I'd like to know is that if I allow a DVD-R/RW to become region locked for playing DVDs will I only be able to burn DVDs for that region with it? There are probably other ways of doing this. Like software that makes a reader multi regional. As I have a DVDR already set to one region I want (Region 2) in my system I won't need to mess around with software that enables multi-region if I allow the DVDR/RW to lock to region 1. But if that restricts the region it'll burn to to Region 1 only then it isn't an option I want to try really.
Cheers
Jay

If I had all the money I'd spent on drink I'd spend it on drink.

Region lock on a DVD burner applies to playback of commercial DVD's only. It has no effect on the burning process.
