  1. Hello, this is my first dvd-burner. And IMHO, it blew me away. I did re-search on burners before buying this one, and, to put it simply, this by far is the top of the line. It just amazes me I now can back up my media(have a 3 year old that like shiny objects). Theres no telling how many time i bought the wiggles musical.

Isnt it amazing how technology changes things? I remember when CD players came out. It was 1987, my dad bought a CD player for 1400$ and the U2 album for 80$. I sat there in the living room amazed that you can skip through the cd INSTANT! No waiting like tape.

THEN, i remember when dvd players hit the streets. I bought one the first day they were out. I paid 950$ for it and bought a movie for 50$, it just amazed me, a movie on a disc. However, i believed this would go to the stone age like the Laser Disc Format.

And now, 8 years later, you can buy a good player for 30$+ and now have the technology to make duplicates of DVD. I just wonder, whats to come 10 years from now? DVD/CD going the stone age way like the Beta/VHS?? Movies on Memory cards??? Just cant wait.

Well, thats my 2 cents worth about technology, any have anything to say? Input on this is welcome.
