Help with .img file - how do I put it on a VCD?

Hi,
Ok, I've read the sticky but thaty doesn't explain my question (as far as I can see). I have an img file. I have extracted and also used Daemon Tools to see what's in it. Now, how do I convert this to an mpg or how do I go about putting this file on a VCD? I tried using DVDx with no luck.

What is in it ? Is it already in VCD or SVCD format ? Is it just an avi ? A little more information or it just blind guessing

Hey its ok, I worked out how to do it. Sorry about the lack of information. I converted it to an ISO with ISO Buster and then used DVDx to make an mpg from the ISO. Thanks for the reply anyway!
