  1. Hello,

I was thinking about buying the 10th Anniversary DVD of Reservoir Dogs. However, I've heard the colors are pretty washed out (supposedly Tarrantino wanted it this way). Is this true? Even so, I would still like to buy the DVD, fix the colors and back the color corrected version I make up. Were the colors better on the old DVD? I only ask because I was wondering if I'm going to have to track down the old release to look at for color reference.

Since I'm buying the official DVD, I just want to back up the film itself if I can successfully color correct it. I can just pop in the store bought disc when I want to watch the extras.

Are there any programs that will let me fix the colors without having to convert to an AVI file reencode the whole thing?

    Thanks.
