  1. Hi there,

Has anyone tried using DVD Shrink on the LOTR 2 SE Edition? Seem to be having problems at around 70% when I try to use DVD Shrink. I already have the latest Anydvd installed using the Latest DVD Shrink but I am unable to rip out the files also when I try DVD Shrink. Also used RAW copy on one of the software im using but still no luck. Am I missing out a technique here? DVD plays on stand alone player. No major scratch present. Any Advice?

    Thanks a lot!

Error message? Lightning bolts? Thunderclaps? Severe burns?

What does DVDShrink do at 70%?

  5. i always encounter cyclic redundancy check when using dvd shrink at 70% and when i use dvd decrypter the vob3 file im trying to rip is estimated to finish in more than half a day...tried it for about 6hrs and kb transfer of files is very small so i decided to quit...any inputs?thanks for the response..i appreciate it..

  6. I've gotten that same error message when using bad blank media in my writer's drive when doing a "copy on the fly". Try a different brand of media and see what happens. Are you using 2 seperate drives (1 source, 1 burn)?

My guess is there's an area on the DVD that is hard for your DVD drive (is it a DVD-ROM or DVD-RW?) to read. Do you have another DVD device installed in your PC that you can use to read the DVD?

You could just try the "Star Wars Trick", using DVD Decrypter, and turning on fast error skip. That should rip everything, or atleast enough for Shrink to work.
