Can a DVD player purchased in the USA playback DVD's purchased in India? Is it true that a majority of Indian DVD's are region free? If so does it matter if the DVD is PAL or NTSC![]()

If you want to be able to play DVDs from India, make sure the US player is multi system (NTSC/PAL) and the DVD is region free. The reegion codes has to do with which group of countries a DVD will play in.

Most of their DVDs are probably Chinese pirates and would be region 0. Many of the Chinese DVDs are NTSC.
