As a follow up to the coaches thread .... What is the worst thing a teacher made you do?
For me... when I was in 5th grade one teacher (a nun no less) made the kids capture live bugs and put a needle thru their backs into cardboard. We then had to watch and write what the bugs did. (thrashing legs, antenea, etc)

homework / pay attention / attend class
it's a 3 way tie. -
Two come to mind.
Dressing us up in garbage bags for World Recycling Day then calling the local media to cover the story.
We have the local (local meaning it gets shown to a city of a million or two people) news station send out there helicopter to a local school each week and usually one of their reporters comes as well to do a good news story (read:filler) about something the school is upto.
Anyway, our school gets the helicopter out. Now everytime this happens the whole school will come down onto the oval to welcome the helicopter and will usually have some sort of display which makes up our logo. Our teacher decides to do something different and gets us to make up the school logo whilst doing the macarena. Of course I get put in the front row right where the TV camera shows and everyone in the city gets to see me do the macarena. -
Dance with a boy in my 3th grade dance ( they were out of girls) ...and they wonder why I am so confused

When I was in 10th grade, I let out a nice long fart (completely silent). I naturally waved it into the air so that others could enjoy the aroma. People immediately cleared my corner of the room, and the teacher claimed that my odor was a distraction to the class. He made me go outside and watch the class from the window. Some people just can't appreciate my caring ways.
That's not the Burrito. It's me flaming your ass! -
I did many bad things to teachers, but few bad things were done to me by teachers, except expecting daily attendance
Once the gymnastics coach, Mr. Gardner (see other "Coach" thread) was setting up gymnastics equipment on the fieldhouse floor for a meet that evening. Me and my buddy Ken were in the balcony hurling colorful epithets down at him from above, since we all hated him. He was evil.
Well that fast bastard casually strolled to a point under the balcony, and then sprinted up the steps and caught us running down the hall, and thumped us each in the side of the head and our heads slammed into the lockers. Then he gave us an ass-chewing.
Today, he would have been fired, then arrested and charged, then sued.
In those days we knew we messed up, took it on the chin, and never mentioned it again to anyone - even each other -

Play Rugby in the middle of Winter in a place called Penygarn.
As far as People in Penygarn were concerned, we were townies and we needed a good ******* kicking.
15 players who had no interest in playing rugby, just wanted to kick shit out of you and 70 pupils on the sidelines spitting and calling you allsorts. Even the Ref was bent.
and I blame that poxy matcho rugby teacher who kept telling us it was character building - my arse, I still get flashbacks now when I go past that place -

Was grateful to have teachers who treated students with more respect, especially in high school when you're not exactly a kid anymore.
I'd have to say worst was having strict silent study halls - 'cause there are times when you needed some time to be sociable...and it wasn't like I could see all of my friends outside of school time.
For that, I feel cheated.
Worst thing or things teachers DID to me would've been beating me over the back with a thick book (lol) just for whispering in class
That and piling up a ridiculous amount of homework night after night (not that I always completed it :P )
Other than that, I can't complain too much...I think I would've liked school more if it wasn't for homework. -

My Latin teacher banged my head on the desk till I cried when I was about 8.
He was ordained as a Priest a few years a go, what a tosser. -
Didn't have anything real bad happen to me, although the worst thing you could have happen at my primary school was be made to sit in the hallway outside the pricipal's office for a recess or lunchtime. You used to feel like you'd been convicted of murder.
If in doubt, Google it. -

........unless I've been drinking of course, in which case...I have to figure a story to match the actions...just like when I was 17.

Getting blackboard dusters thrown at me from across the room. Being made to lean against a wall supported only by two fingertips. Being forced to sand down desks after I casually "decorated" them in French class.
