I'm looking to buy a dvd standalone player and in the future a dvd burner. I would like to know of a dvd player that will allow to play burned dvd's? I want to rent a dvd, copy it to a dvd and then play it on a standalone dvd player. Does anybody know of some types that will allow me to do this?
Also, what would be the best type of dvd burner to get, (eg: DVD-RAM, DVD+RW, and DVD-RW?).
Finally, would I be able to download a dvd movie of the internet and burn it to a disc and it would be just like I bought it at the store?

If I recall correctly, all DVD+R, DVD+RW media (those are the actual DVD-Recordable Discs, not DVD-RAM) will play on all DVD Players. Or well, supposed to.....
