Petition for Star Wars originals

Dear all
Most of you might already have seen that George Lucas has once again butchered the original versions of star wars in the new trilogy DVD's. Well, I have found this website which I reckon is the best chance you have to stand up and be counted, and show your frustration of not being able to watch these films in their 'classic' state.

Ps. If I had the time I would love to rip the DVD's (which I have bought), remove the new bits and replace with the original bits from video/laser disc. Has anybody done that already that I could purchase copies from, or even just DVD copies of the full original laser discs would be great.
