Okay, I know how to convert an SVCD into a DVD, BUT it doesn't play on my dvd player because of the resolution. I'm just wondering how can I convert or change my resolution so it plays on my dvd player? I have my svcd into the dvd format mpa_48k and mpv, if i'm correct now I need to set my video file into a dvd resolution.

I was told to use tmpgenc Author, but I do not know how to use it to change my resolution, can somebody please teach me how to convert these files into the dvd resolution?

The best DVD resolution for converted SVCD is 352x480/576 otherwise known as 1/2 DVD. You convert with TMPGEnc (the encoder) then author and burn with TMPGEnc DVD Author (TDA).

    Here's a guide.

Author your mpv(mpg) and mpa(mp2) files with IFOEDIT. It will ignore the 480x480 resolution and display it properly. I've convert many SVCD files to DVD with IFOEDIT. Try it on an RW disk to be sure your player handles it.

SVCD on DVD does not play on all players.

sorry i'm a newbie still, but my files aren't .dat they are .bin .cue so how i do this with that guide?

  6. You can't do anything with bin/cue files other than to create a disc. Bin/Cue files are instructions to be used by the burning software.

After you burn the disc, you may be able to use the files on the disc.
