I have been reading through the forums for the first time in several months, and I have noticed that the newer DVD players have lots of great features like divx playback, 802.11b networking, and other things.
Is there one player that currently stands out as being the best DVD player?

Meridian Audio 808i and 808
Krell DVD standard
Pioneer DV-59AVi
Theta Compli Universal Player
Or you could also pick up a used or older Faroudja DV1000 for under $2500 (but had some problems with DTS)
or get one of the great Faroudja DVP4000 systems just out now.
